I truly agreed that it’s not about the camera it’s all about who’s behind the camera. I’ve noticed most Pro’s preferred Canon over Nikon its just a personal preference overall. I shoot Canon and i’m glad I did. GO CANON!!!
i shoot a nikon d300 , i dont dislike canon! both are top choices for all types of photography. all these folks bragging bout what they got most likly dont got at all!!! i use a 70-300mm vr and get sharp ,pleasing results! i could have got a d3 but dont need the full frame ! get a grip guys!!
this is no comparison, i have tried both… Canon is soft at 2.8 where as nikon is tack sharp at 2.8. the nikons 70-200 is way better. Try it out yourself, not talking about build quality..talking about color rendition and image quality.
Actually I own a 1dmkIII and a Gripped 40D so shut the fuck up. Arnold whos related to our family friend, the kennedys, is also my moms friend since shes in the movie industry. so maybe Ill ask him about your skills? Why dont you post the pictures you get paid for of all these celebs? Not to mention for a kid majoring in photo, yours dont seem to be very advanced at all. To qualify the shit talking, my neighbor and mentor Fabrice Trombert, will fuck your teachers in the ass and piss on you
Actually if you learned to listen the D3 and nikon 70-200 is borrowed from my school… Brooks institute of photography. and no my highschool photo teacher said i suck… But that hasn’t stopped me from doing shoots with Arnold Schwarzeneggar. Im not trying to impress anyone i dont need someone named Frizholys approval in order to feel good about myself. I know my images are good. so go home and play with your rebel…

If you know any real pros who dont just blow cash, you would know that its completely retarded to buy two of the best caliber sports bodies with the same lenses from two different companies! Who the hell are you trying to impress? IDK what your high school photo teacher says but your shit isnt even that good! On that thing called FLICKR that you hate so much, there is a shit load more talent with equipment alot less wasted. FUCK YOU

You haven’t a clue to whom you responded to. I didn’t say that Nikon or Canon was better than the other. Both are in creditably good at what they make and the photographer. I shoot both. You’re right I don’t own either one. I have access to both top of the line because I shoot professionally for Concert artists. You probably aren’t aware that Canon has made full frame cameras long before the Nikon D3 became available. The camera that I own is the H5D Hasselblad you couldn’t afford.

I’m assuming you’re a Nye-con person. Honestly, I don’t see why you have to deal with pronunciation with these 2 companies. Everyone says it differently but as long as it sounds like it, then I don’t think it would matter much.
And to fourthsquarephoto, you should do a little review on these 2 great glasses. Keep up the good work!
Canon and Nikon are the leaders of the pack. Canon makes it;s own sensors not it’s glass. Nikkor makes it’s own glass not it’s sensors they leave that to Sony. Nikkor cooks their glass which gives a superior quality over the Canon’s low light quality. I play with both. However, I like Canon because they remain unstoppable in the full frame market. If your doing sports or wildlife photography you want to go with Canon. If fashion or concert are your thing you want to go with Nikon.

Your such a fake, you nothing! Nikon is pronounced Nee-Con. Nikkor is pronounced Nee-core. Nikkor is the name of their optical company, which they are. Nikon is the name of their Electrical company which they are. Canon is Canon and they use third party products. Your Canon 580Ex is really a Panisonic 580ex. Plus Nikon was before Canon, So everything Nikon does, is the norm, Canon is the one who whet in the other direction. So Canon is doing it wrong because Nikon did it first!
By the way, Canon manufactured their own glass especially their top of the line glass (L series)…
