you are right, but i have a 70 200 f2,8 too and the hood is a tiny bit too large for the 24 70 and does not fit in the 24 70…also, the lens that she have can probably be a 28 70 (older version)… i guess
Looking around, looks like the ET-86, you’re right, which is indeed for the 70-200 she has in her bag.
