well it was suppose to “help” rewire that whole thing… but that’s just BS from nikon…. : because they also claimed that if that keeps happening, it’s because we didn’t care for it properly. i freggin got my own camera for graduation in like June….thennnnnn they tell us you have to keep your camera cool : GAY! i want a damn refund! or the same camera for free

Installer doesn’t help me. The camera shows the “battery exhausted” message and turns itself off even when connected to the computer.
Nikon service is a joke. They want me to ship it at my expense and oh yeah they say the box it came in isn’t adequate for shipping so I need to get that too. Canon provides the shipping package and shipping for free.

I have same problem. Nikon says no firmware is available. Any other solution?
I read that you have to upgrade the firmware but this issue may pop up later after a lot of use.
