@dvamateur the plastic cover is made in china. When you open it up, the metal body underneath have made in japan markings, as well as most of the internal mechanisms.
@jonvideo thank you
The autofocus won’t work much of the time. The IS stablizer won’t work, The focal length will be different than the one listed on the lens.
i have a bunch of OM lenses, when attached with an adapter, will they auto-focus? what features will stay and what will be taken away or decreased?
this dude is drooling ……..for this kind of situations, this camera is splashproof
3-e is the coolest camera, by the way.
really good cam
The “Made in China” sticker on the bottom of the camera is the only thing that spoils this camera. Other than that, everything is alright. Very alright, in fact. Espeically with the 14-35mm f/2.0 lens, this is the unique of a kind combo. The reason I feel strange about the “Made in China” thing is because the laborers in China are paid very little ($1 a day?), no health benefits, etc. And the camera cost more than my Lumix DMC-FZ30 that is Made in Japan. Is it a global economy or slavery?
I have this camera and I am so happy with it. Damn heavy (not to mention with the battery grip…) But that’s what you get, considering it is such a robust and reliable dSLR. Stunning pictures. One down point is the performance at higher ISO, which quite frankly sucks. Nevertheless, this camera ROCKS.
I so want this camera.
stop swallowing your spit!!!
stick with CF, XD sucks and is expensive.
ordered this video as a refresher for the E3 settings. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
